This position will be responsible for preparing orders according to worksheets, help organize coolers, freezers, and storage rooms according to FIFO.Essential Functions Prepare production inventory orders to stock station attendantsPerforms receiving duties for incoming inventory from vendorsInspects incoming product to quality standards and ensure freshnessStocks freezer, cold room and dry goodsMaintains inventory warehouse locations in a clean, organized mannerPulls orders for decantRotates inventory to ensure FIFO (first in first out)Conducts physical inventory counts and count sheetsPerforms other duties as neededRecord temperatures of carts to ensure HACCP complianceWork in a cold environmentAbility to work flexible hours, any day of the weekCompetent to work independently within area of expertiseAbility to solve inventory related problemsDeal with a variety of issues relating to storeroom inventory levels and production ordersMust be able to function within a team environment.Performs tasks under general supervision.Other Responsibilities and duties will include, but not be limited to: Competent to work independently within area of expertiseAbility to solve inventory related problemsDeal with a variety of issues relating to storeroom inventory levels and production ordersMust be able to function within a team environment.Performs tasks under general supervision.Skills and Qualifications Ability to prepare orders for production based on daily needsAbility to lift, up to 40 lbsAbility to work in a cold environmentBilingual skills helpful.Food Service experience desiredDesired experience is 1-5 years warehouse or storeroom experienceKnowledge of Food Industry quality and sanitation standards and requirementsHigh school level written and verbal communication skillsHigh degree of integrity and openness in reporting responsibilitiesUnderstanding of Microsoft Office suite, specifically in ExcelSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has non-supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a food-manufacturing environment.
