You will serve as a Lead Regional Emergency Response Dispatcher (OA) in the Emergency Management Department of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII.Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following specialized experience:Processing and recording pertinent data for incoming emergency and non-emergency calls.Dispatching the appropriate responding fire, ambulance and police units.Knowledge and experience operating 9-1-1 systems to include Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), radio dispatch equipment, recording devices and multi-function telephones.Possess a strong foundation in emergency dispatching, demonstrating critical decision making and skills that support effective communication and multi-tasking.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
